General conditions and cancellation policy
CANCELLATION
No reimbursement will be made in the event of cancellation of the reservation or no-show, except in the case of cancellation by ESCAPELIFE, BY GENIE CULTUREL SARL alone. In the latter case, the amount of the initial reservation will be refunded.
However, in case of cancellation by the client, ESCAPELIFE can credit the client's account for the initial amount of the cancelled reservation and allow the client to postpone the cancelled activity to a later date of his/her choice. This opportunity is valid for one year and under the condition that the postponement request is communicated by email to info@escapelife.ch within 48 hours. The date on which the request for postponement is sent will be taken as proof of the validity of the right to postpone.
Modification
You have the possibility to modify your reservation online (date, time, number of people, options) until 48 hours before your activity.
In this case, it is possible to add one or more people. A new payment link will be sent to you by email in order to complete the payment of your reservation.
It is also possible to withdraw players. The difference in price is not refunded but is credited back to your customer account and deducted from your next booking.
If there are fewer players present on the day of the activity than planned at the time of booking, the difference in price will not be credited to a customer account or refunded. Furthermore, it is not possible to play alone or with less than 4 people.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE AND USE OF THE ESCAPELIFE WEBSITE
PRELIMINARY
These general terms and conditions of sale and use were updated on 15 March 2023 and apply to your visit to and use of the Escapelife website (https://www.escapelife.ch and our official pages on social networks) and to any booking made on the Site as well as to all information and/or services provided to you by the Site.
They also apply when you come to our premises to experience Escapelife. The terms and conditions that apply are those indicated at the time of booking.
You may be referred to hereafter as "you", "your", "yours" or "the player", "the players".
We may be referred to below as "we", "us", "our", "......" or "Escapelife".
In order to use the Site and book a game session, you must accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
GENIE CULTUREL SARL_GAME GENERATOR - ESCAPELIFE
Génie Culturel Sàrl is a limited liability company with a capital of CHF 25'000.00, whose registered office is located at ruelle du chapitre 1- 1950 Sion, registered in the register of commerce and companies of Sion under IDE CHE-347.301.982.
It owns the Site and reserves the right to change or cancel these terms and conditions and the content of the Site at any time at its sole discretion and without notice.
It also owns the Escapelife brand and concept in Switzerland. The website https://www.escapelife.ch is operated by Escapelife.
THE ESCAPELIFE CONCEPT
Escapelife is a collaborative and innovative game concept allowing players to discover Swiss cities and villages, to enter monuments usually closed to the public, to learn and to collaborate in an enigmatic and mystical experience. A route through the city, including inside monuments usually closed to the public, is thus made available to groups of 4 to 18/25 players organised in teams.
The Escapelife concept is a live event that allows you to share moments of complicity, to measure your reactivity, your spirit of deduction and cooperation, in an experience at the crossroads between the Escapegame and the treasure hunt.
RESERVATION
You must be at least 18 years of age to book a game session but the game is open to anyone over 18, accompanied by an adult for minors.
Reservations can be made online through the Bookeo booking site (accessed from the Site), by telephone or by email.
The game is designed for a team of 4 to 18 or 25 people per city, so you can book a session for a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 18/25 people.
The reservation of a game is only final when it is paid by the customer and confirmed by Escapelife. You will receive confirmation of your booking by e-mail.
A reserved game session may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes. If a session is transferred or resold in breach of this condition, the game holder or the person claiming the right to play will be denied the game.
You are entirely responsible for entering your personal information correctly on the online booking form. By submitting an online booking form you guarantee Escapelife that all the information you have provided is accurate.
A booking becomes invalid and entry will be refused if the team is more than 15 minutes late. In such a situation, the session is non-refundable and the booking cannot be changed or rescheduled.

RATES
The prices are indicated on the Site and on the Bookeo booking site.
The price shown includes VAT.
The total price depends on the number of players and any options chosen.
The list of the different means of payment that are accepted on the Site are specified on the booking site.
ADMISSION, SECURITY AND GAME
We reserve the right to refuse entry to our premises to anyone who is unfit, abusive or inappropriate in any way at the sole discretion of the owners and staff of Escapelife. Players under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted. If there are signs of intoxication during the mission, Escapelife staff reserves the right to terminate the experience. No refunds or compensation will be made in such cases. Some of the locations are places of worship for which Escapelife has obtained access permits, others are monuments in which certain spaces are occupied by city staff. In case of inappropriate behaviour during the mission, Escapelife staff reserves the right to terminate the experience. No refund or compensation will be given in such cases.
No drinks or foodstuffs may be brought into the game rooms except for the VINUM option. In this case, only wines provided by Escapelife are allowed in the premises.
For safety reasons, children under 12 years of age must be announced at the time of booking. Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by at least one adult at all times.
Players are asked to arrive at their meeting point(s) 15 minutes before the start of the session to allow time to familiarise themselves with the nature of the game, the instructions and constraints, and to make the experience enjoyable.
After having been made aware of the rules of the game, each player participates in the game at his own risk.
Escapelife recommends that players wear comfortable clothing for the game. Very warm in winter, light in summer.
Escapelife expects players not to disclose any details of the game directly or indirectly to the public.
Escapelife can charge customers for damages caused by players, whether intentional or unintentional.
While on the premises and in the play areas, you must follow our rules and regulations, adopt appropriate standards of behaviour, and co-operate with our employees regarding safety rules or any other specific regulations.
HEALTH AND SAFETY OF PLAYERS
Escapelife would like to point out to the players that the concept of the game involves short outdoor trips (maximum 10 minutes) and distances which may limit the participation of people with reduced mobility.
In addition, Escapelife informs the players of the limited risk of falling during the game session, especially in case of missions carried out at night and/or in winter on slippery ground.
In any case, Escapelife is not responsible for any personal injury or material damage caused directly or indirectly by the game or by improper use of the game or for not following the safety rules described before the game session.
USE OF THE SITE - INFORMATION
The Site is for personal use only. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from the Site.
You may not use all or any part of the Site for any purpose that is fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.
Escapelife undertakes to take all necessary measures to protect the security of the payment card information. Escapelife shall not be liable for any damage you may suffer as a result of the loss of information transmitted to Escapelife, in case Escapelife did not fail to fulfil its obligations and did not cause the loss.
Escapelife shall not be liable for any damages, consequential or incidental, including lost profits or revenue, loss of opportunity, costs of substitute products or services, loss or damage to data or business interruption, arising out of any use of the Site, in the event that Escapelife is not in breach of its obligations and did not cause such damages.
The trademarks and logos on the website are the property of Escapelife. You are not allowed to use them without the prior written permission of Escapelife and you accept that such use may constitute a violation of the rights of the owner concerned.
The Site may contain links to third party sites. The operation of these sites is beyond the control of Escapelife and you use them at your own risk.
Escapelife collects and stores your personal information without disclosing it to any third party and is dedicated to ensuring that your privacy is protected. You agree that Escapelife may contact you with offers and promotions by email or telephone and you have the right to unsubscribe from these emails or calls.
DISPUTES - CLAIMS - FOUND OBJECTS
We will deal with any requests or complaints you make immediately.
Your request can be addressed to Escapelife by any means of contact. We commit ourselves to answer you as soon as possible and to find an amicable solution.
Escapelife is not responsible for lost or stolen items on our premises. However, you can contact us for any lost property request.
REMINDER FEE
Payment by invoice: CHF 30.00 reminder fee for late payment after the second reminder.
